In December 2021, a stolen vehicle was driven into Puget Sound. Tide Management Seattle PD contracted Team Pro-Tow to help with the water vehicle recovery. Fortunately, we were able to use a light-style rigging kit and spreader bar to hook up to the submerged vehicle. It was safely loaded onto a flatbed and towed away.
Fuel spills can happen anywhere and at any time, meaning a vehicle's leak and spill could occur while parked or while on the road. Back in September 2019, Team Pro-Enviro responded to a call regarding a jackknifed semi-truck and trailer in Federal Way, Washington. Unfortunately, the truck had crashed into a guard rail on Interstate 5, causing a widespread diesel fuel and engine oil spill.
On December 27, 2021, another incident with a load of potatoes required extensive semi-truck cleanup—a semi-truck hauling a full load of taters overturned near Sumner, WA. The truck went into the ditch, and its potato load went in with it, scattering mashed potatoes at the scene.
In this incident, on July 15, 2019, a tractor-trailer jackknifed and ended up with a broken open fuel tank and a major roadway spill. The incident happened on Interstate Highway 90 in Snoqualmie, WA. For this type of recovery, both Team Pro-Tow and Team Pro-Enviro responded to help with the vehicle and spill recovery.
